Ya'll things are popping off. So, this is the 2nd prequal in The Cambion Rider Chronicles. Read Siren first if you are interested in this one.
In this short story we are introduced to Lachlan who is a dragon. Despite other preternatural beings being out in this world, dragons, demons, and a few others are still in hiding.
In Siren we met our girl Veronica who is a badass Chicago police detective with a mysterious connection to the supernatural community.
In this book we've upgraded from CPD to a Freelancer with FBI ties who suspects our girl of being a serial killer. This was a total tease. We are given soo much tea and then left on a cliff hanger!
But it's a good one. Like I screamed and smiled and am super hyped to finally START this series. There is a ton of potential with this.
