Jasmine and Jafar are the kinky lovers in this loose Aladdin retelling.

While not a complete trash fest, there is a lot to be picked apart with the whole consent theme of this book. It is of course, very steamy but the opening smut scene, atleast for me was a bit much, no matter how much she claimed to want it.
Its a short one so the story isnt particularly heavy and thats okay. It makes sense, the work towards it, the end.
Theres a bit of F/F action which is cool although kinda random.
I wouldve like more about Ali and Jasmine and Jafar’s relationship before the novel as i felt this could have added more to the emotional connection between them.
