I love the Love in LA series! This cover is beautiful, and the story inside is even better. I love the guardian/single parent trope where a character suddenly has to take on the responsiblity of raising a child that isn't theirs. I loved Owen and how he stepped up to the plate for Julia. I do wish we had seen more of him with Julia, because for most of the book, he was just preparing for her and working out the legal aspects of custody, etc. I loved Owen's relationship with Maeve, and how he never gave up on her. There was some push and pull, but both of them had hard pasts and had to grow through things and then come together, where they helped each other heal and find a happily ever after. This book had everything you could ever want and I cannot wait to continue the series.
