ARC received for an honest review

This is the first in a new series by Ms Robert, and I am hooked.

Right from the start, I was drawn into Beckett and Samara's story. Lust, lies, betrayals - it has bit of it all. It is like an episode of Dynasty that never ends!

Blood does not make a family, and money does not make people happy - just ask this family. Sheesh, talk about dysfunction!

And unlike Gordon Gecko said, greed is not good!

I freaking adore Beckett and Samara together. Fighting their attraction, fighting for what is right, fighting for each other. And oh my when things get down and dirty - turn up the air conditioning because things are hot hot hot!

The Last King is a great start to a new series from a favourite author. I can't wait to see what happens next!
