Shockaholic
by Carrie Fisher
I wish I had known Fisher was an author before her death last month; it was especially painful to read this book and all its many, stabbing references to her own death so soon after its happening. This book is sharp and witty and wry and self-aware, it is sad but above all it is funny. Fisher never pulls her own punches, even when aimed at herself, and this honest book lets the reader share in all of her highs and lows.
