I probably made a mistake in reading these short stories before bed as they are very heavy on the gothic/supernatural and I scare easily. The Yellow Wall-Paper was easily my favourite, and I can tell it’s going to be a story I reread again and again.

I wasn’t so into The Rocking-Chair, but really enjoyed Old Water and would recommend it to anyone looking for a story about a girl getting her revenge on a pretentious poet who can’t understand no.
