This was a much better thriller than I expected. The first two thirds of the book are meh. Not terrible, gives you enough to know something is off, but spends most of the time setting up for two of the red herrings. The last 3rd of the book is where things really pick up. There is red herring after red herring but they work to keep you interested. I went with 4 stars instead of 5 because one of the final big twists is literally something from left field that you could have never put together. It is not a bad ending, but it does take away from some of the build up. Overall a good thriller.
