Logan has hidden his true self from everyone but his best friend due to being the 80's and the stigma around being anything but straight. He has secretly pined over his stepbrother Nick, for years and that pining turned into anger because he thought that his pining would never be more than that. 

Logan is forced into his road trip with Nick after his best friend is unable to go. The beginning is super rocky with the two with Logan's pining and Nick oblivion to it all. At one point Logan snaps and reveals everything to Nick. 

I loved loved loved the willingness of both of them to be open, vulnerable and communicate after they finally broke through that last barrier and no longer had secrets between them. I loved watching their feelings grow stronger and their bond grow.

But ummmmm this book was soooooo good. I honestly did not expect to love a 1980 style romance as much as I did. These two were so amazing! Loved every bit of it!
