This would have been 5 stars had the main conflict been given a true resolution rather than just petered out. I wavered so much in completing this book as the advertised main plot doesn’t start until near halfway through. Which, after finishing, doesn’t seem that bad. Once started you have to finish it but it’s very much a “you’ll either love this or you’ll hate this”
