A warm lovely book, as one reviewer said it’s like the book version of UP the movie.
I wish we got to see more of Ove spending time with the found family as a whole towards the end. Instead it felt like the middle dragged a bit. I also think the skip to his death at the end felt unnecessary and so didn’t feel as impactful.
Tbh the teaching Parvaneh how to drive scene got me emotional during the confrontation with the drivers in the city Jeep.
