There's some neat moments here, but that's all there is here. Moments of depression, adrenaline, and joy with little to no transition between them, making me feel like I have whiplash from the changing tone. I *do* like the metaphor Lobdell creates for why The Dark Multiverse is clogged up like a toilet, but the resolution leaves a lot to be desired and I don't appreciate this book ending by setting up another "world-shattering, life-changing, multiversal event OoOoOoO". Spend your time and money elsewhere.
