“You’re nobody’s doorway but your own, and the only one who gets to tell you how your story ends is you.”

While this story was short and don’t have a lot of the plot points that usually capture my interest, the premise of the doorways and the promise of finding a way home really struck me and made me tender for this story, especially the ending. Picking up the second book now!
