Overall - 3.5/5. I just freaking love these books - I literally can’t get enough (which is good since the author just announced a 6th one). I think the first two in the series were probably the best, followed by this one and then the 3rd one. They are entertaining and fun enough they definitely have me as a committed fan! This one delves in father to Vero’s past as well as Finlay’s new man (but also kinda forced Steven to become a committed father !!!)

I highly recommend this series if you like dark humor and mysteries. They are a hoot and a holler to say the least. It’s common for me to audibly laugh out loud while reading these - and honestly that is one of my favorite things about a book!
