ARC review

I gotta admit that this book didn’t work for me. I couldn’t get a grip on one of the characters, and he unfortunately also lacked a backbone when it came to his ex husband, which really annoyed me in the end. There was a lot of telling instead of showing which makes sense, considering it’s a shorter book, but it did lead to me feeling bored and skimming quite a bit.

Sweet and simple concept, but without connecting to the characters it didn’t work for me.
