This doesn't feel like a 3 star book...but it also isn't bad enough to be 2 stars. Honestly...super disappointed. The writing was absolutely lovely and I thought Carlota was so cute. The story definitely had substance but there just wasn't enough of a creep factor for me...we have hybrids, c'mon now, be a little scary. There were parts that just dragggggged for me and I lost interest. It just didn't hit the spot like I hoped.
