Battle to Surrender
by Willow Dixon
“Taking risks is scary, But sometimes it’s worth it to step outside your comfort zone and fight for what you want.”
Holy mother of all that is the praise in this book!
Hunter & Shane are definitely my favorite out of this series. I was wondering when we would get Sarge's story and now that I got it, I am sad to leave them.
The differences in this book are almost similar to the others but not because there is an added dynamic that will catch you off guard. It's completely unexpected but so good.
Hunter has been through a lot in his life, from his home life to his military career that he never expects to want more from someone who is younger than him.
Shane is not expecting the big man that is Hunter when he meets with him for the first time but soon he realizes that maybe he is what he needs after all, even if he is his client.
These two are amazing together. Shane brings Hunter out of his shell and he embraces it. There is a few well placed pet names in there and Hunter comes alive.
Even though this book is heavy at times throughout there is a lot more to it than those times.
The praise in this book is top notch for damn sure!
The dirty talk..
The little spots of humor..
The feelings..
Hunter & Shane took me somewhere I wasn't expecting but it was fun to be there. The dad of the group finally found his happiness.
