Great Big Beautiful Life
by Emily Henry
fast-paced
Thank you @prhaudio @berkleyromance for a copy of this much anticipated book.
As a fan of EH, I will read anything that she writes. This books was very reminiscent of Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo with Margaret , a former screen star, that slipped into a quiet life and is ready to share her story. It comes down to Alice and Hayden and they must spend a month with her and she decides at the end of the month who gets the job.
Stuck in the small town, Alice and Hayden starts hanging out together and their romance develops. I wanted to see more romance between the two and not as much insta love.
I enjoyed learning about Margaret's life. There is a twist in the story that I saw coming which I think impacted my love for this book.
As always, Julia Whalen does a phenomenal job with the narration.
