There is nothing offensive about this book. It’s fine. I didn’t HATE it, despite the two-star review. However, there’s also nothing particularly intriguing about this book either. I was sucked in by the initial premise, but at just over 100 pages, it doesn’t exactly dig deep. It reads like fan fiction. There are lines and phrases directly lifted from the source material that just sound like the author tried too hard to fit them in.
Again, this was fine. A nice quick read. But it’s not great either.
