Did this book do anything revolutionary? LOL absolutely not. But did this book drag me out of hardcore book slump and provide me endless entertainment? YES.
It feels like I was just served all my favorite tropes on a silver platter. I get why a lot of reviews say this was boring. I pretty much knew where this was going from the start and there’s a huge chunk of book that’s just them traipsing through the forest. But this somehow didn’t bother me? I was having too much fun watching this mess unravel.
