ARC kindly received for an honest review.

This one took me a while to get into, and I'm, not really too sure how I feel about the characters. They were likeable enough, and they had some great discussions, but I'm just not sure. My frame of mind at the moment with personal things may be affecting my reading, so don't take too much stock into this review, as I'm not sure it would be the same as my normal reviews.

The main character had some great values and opinions and wasn't afraid to voice them - this was something I really liked.

I do like Emma Hart books, and they're always really easy to read, and don't have too much angst. There's always a loveable quirky character (usually a relative) thrown in, and just some fun bits and pieces happening through. This was an interestingly written royal/aristocrat story, and I would certainly be interested in reading more from this series.
