I thoroughly enjoyed the novel, though I found it a bit anti-climatic. I expected more from the ending & I found myself a bit bored near the end as well. However, the novel is beautifully written. It reads like a horror movie - it was nightmareish - intensely so. I've been recommending the book since I began reading it. And now that I've finished I still feel the same way.
