This book was a really interesting and original concept that felt grounded in human experience. I loved the focus on the healing and closure portion of grief - rather than the earlier stages. It discussed grief without being in your face sad. I felt like it made the overall effect more heartfelt. I can't really explain it but at 2 seperate times I was moved to tears. It's just something about the closure given during those scenes that i really connected with. I feel like this story really encompassed the journey of healing from grief. The ending focused on new beginnings and the forward motion of your life after the loss of a loved one. Overall, really enjoyed.
