When I first picked this up in 2021, I had a difficult time getting into the writing.
I tried it again and still struggled with the writing and the pacing, but ended up sticking around for the plot
The plot, for me, was great! Twist and turns and horror movie referents galore!
What still bogged me down was the pacing and the verbose writing. I really wanted to love this, but I ended up liking it just okay
