Unfortunately, this did not really vibe with me. The writing was still fantastic and I liked the plot but for me, this book felt all over the place. I get that the world was expanding back in these days but for me, the strong suit of the series was always the roots and the stories of Kingsbridge and I have really missed this. I could also not really connect to the characters. However, it was still an interesting series and I learned a lot about this time period.
