I was so nervous for this book. I really like Lily as a character, I think she's amazing. But I was very apprehensive about reading a book where the main female character is a young teenager who pines over a much older male. I'm a huge fan of age gap romances, but not when it includes 15 year old girls, like wtf?

I'm SO GLAD, that the romance between the characters didn't actually start until Lily was an adult. If Romero started liking Lily when she was 15... this book would've been a huge NO. Thankfully, that wasn't the case.

I really liked Romero and Lily's relationship. In fact, they're my favourite couple in the series so far. Romero is adorable, and Lily is so relatable. I loved them together. My only issue is that there isn't a lot action? Towards the end, it started getting tense but stopped before anything mafia-related actually happens. When I pick up a mafia romance, I want there to actually be mafia related things happening. idk, I just wish there was more action.

But overall, I did really enjoy it. The two main characters are definitely the highlight of this novel.
