This was somewhat better than the first book, but I still wasn't a fan. The enemies to lovers wasn't great at all, because the banter and the teasing and tension just felt so forced and cringey. It didn't make me feel hot and bothered like I know other enemies to lovers books are supposed to be, and how they have made me feel. Pippa and Camden were just both so immature so it was so hard to root for them. Also, what was with the "plant his seed in you" line? That was in such bad taste and so gross. Ugh. Here's to hoping book three in the series will be better but I'm not holding my breath.
