loved the beginning, the spooky scary vibe was on point. however, i feel like the ending lost some of the oomf of the rest of the book. I ended up a little disappointed.
personally liked the characters, but very unsure what I was meant to take from them. the theme of the book didn’t play out for them and so the “lesson” didn’t hit nearly hard enough. i don’t feel like they learned anything really.
