This is the third in a series I’m loving and I do recommend reading them in order to maximize enjoyment. I truly loved the romance between Emery & Kane, they were perfect together but where this really worked for me was in the suspense side of things. That portion was done so well and it was intense, surprising and addicting. Kane as a single dad to the cutest little girl was so good as well and he was also down bad for Emery so a win/win with the swoony and the sweet. The narrators were fantastic and since this was such an emotional read they really had their work cut out for them. SO good!
