Had the potential to be really cute - but like a lot of magical realism romances the “magic” part doesn’t hold up to any real scrutiny - it was window dressing to create an interesting hook. The plot ended up being too lopsided, way more time should have been spent in the “real” Gemma’s reality. Kinda bummed we saw Gemma fall in love with alternate reality Dax, a different version of him, and no time spent showing us her falling in love with “real” Dax.
