I'd created a fair bit of book hype myself for this one the moment I heard it was coming out. The book cover was eye catching and I was excited to read it. Afterall Cat's debut novel 'Something In The Water' was my top read of 2018.
Did Mr.Nobody live up to my expectations? Yes and no!
It was very well written for starters. It packed a punch in the last third of the book where the pace picked up, and I became consumed by the plot twist which I certainly did not see coming.
However, it was slightly unrealistic in parts, I mean if you have to assume a new identity, it is generally for a good reason and I question if you would go back to the place where you had to leave in the first place no matter how intriguing the pull to go back was?
