Re-reading these so i can catch up. Still enjoy this series. Just a fun, bouncing, adventure with a pretty awesome protagonist. I love the mix of religion, culture, and fun adventure this series got going for it. Again the origin of her powers is dumb but the rest is good.

Damn great first few issues. I do admit the way she got her powers was lame but everything else works. Solid dialog, great action scenes, good character development so far. I'm really digging it.
