Imagine: read this four times and never reviewed it so here we go.

HoF slows down a bit from the intense revelations of Crown of Midnight. We learn some valuable and saddening truths about Celaena and her past while meeting new enemies and allies both from within and without.
Rowan is obviously the shining light in this outing, that never changes, but where I previously felt a big bogged down by the witches portion of the book, i found so much to respect about Manon and her own growth.
I loved watching Chaol and Aedion interact and slowly dissecting how much of a tool Chaol was acting to be hated the way he is. What i see is a man loyal to his beliefs above all else and trying to maintain that balance of loyalty between two things he loves: his country and his friends. He felt betrayed and watching him shift through that waa intetesting.

I loved the flashbacks the most alongside the Mistward stuff but im not entirely sure what the cadre turned up to do if they didnt actually help during the fight.

Sad that about Sorcha considering she was another ethnic character but still, the ending was graphic and epic and i dig it!
