This took a really long time to get good. And it had such an interesting premise. But it spent way too much surfing and staring at hot dudes and not enough time building up the world and the politics of the Talon. Which sucked because I really really really wanted to like this book. I mean it had dragons!!! That should be epic. But it was all misplaced and issued. However, the ending was a solid 3 stars and I would like to see where the series goes. Maybe it gets a lot better.
