i can't remember what's the last time i cried reading a book. this book made me cry twice. TWICE. the first time was when evelyn finally got to marry the person tht mattered the most celia, just the two of them, on their bed, so so happy to be finally together and once againt when the book ended and i realized there was no more. evelyn hugo felt so real to me, i caught myself wishing to google her several times, to know more about her, before remembering that she's not an actual person. that i can't watch her movies. i know i'll think about this book for a long while.
