I dunno how I feel about this book. I think it is overly hyped. I enjoy his writing style and how blasé it is but at the same time it’s almost just a sexual fantasy that he’s published as a fiction. Also the female characters serve no purpose besides sex which is dumb. I also enjoyed Kafka one he shore better cause it had a weird fantastical element to it where as this story was more realistic and just about death. I don’t get the hype. Also was frustrated by how the main character (written by a man) is portrayed as a sorta great but average man who is respectful of women but from my perspective he still treats them like shit.
