This book was a really solid murder mystery for me. The voice of the narrator is a pleasant amount of meta commentary and made me laugh out loud several times. The plot moves quickly and remained a step ahead for most of the book (look, I know a romantic interest when I see one) but didn’t make me feel condescended to (I credit the narrator’s voice and interjections for this). The characters were distinct without sticking too closely to archetypes. It was an enjoyable read that I will be thinking of for a while.
