Don't know if it was just me or perhaps reading it over xmas but I had 0 idea what was happening in this book and it felt like the story could have happened over 50 pages not 500! Wasn't a fan of the constant change in time and location - that was definitely a factor in why I had no clue what was going on. Didn't really feel close to any of the characters and it didn't create any imagery in mind whilst reading. Gutted I spent the best part of a month reading this book!
