I really enjoyed it. Sloane and Rowan are both really interesting characters. I will admit that it kind of lost me towards the end, the pacing was weird. The first half was definitely my favourite. It was fun and kept me hooked. I love the tension that built up between the two of them and when it broke the spice was great, maybe a little long though. Overall, I think it was a really good book, I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did.
Why I wasnt expecting to enjoy it, and why it was fine: The cannibalism warning grossed me out, BUT the purposeful stuff wasnt the MCs so it was fine. Parts of the book were still kind of gross but it wasnt bad.
A minor detail that bugged me:BOOT PRINTS WOULDN'T LAST THAT LONG! And if they did she would have had a lot more problems
