» PLOT «
Katniss Everdeen, girl on fire, has survived, even though her home has been destroyed. Gale has escaped. Katniss's family is safe. Peeta has been captured by the Capitol. District 13 really does exist. There are rebels. There are new leaders. A revolution is unfolding.

A great ending, but the start/middle of the book was a bit rough.

easy read, great audiobook narrator

» CHARACTERS «
I liked the characters at first, but they were a bit more annoying in this book. While reading from Katniss's perspective, her frustrations with other characters and her lack of knowledge regarding her situation also contributed to my frustrations with the characters.

» WRITING «
not bad, just one of the weaker books in the series imo.

» OVERALL «
iconic ending, definitely would recommend this series
