It’s a really slow-paced book. The author apparently loves describing things, and I do wonder sometimes how he managed to get his crime novels popular, or are they slow-paced as well and not thrilling at all?

Well, I do like reading this series though. I love sinking deep into the world he’s created and following the characters into their next adventure.

In this book I especially loved the friendship between Benfro and Malkin. A bit unexpected and unusual but that’s just makes it so beautiful. I just wish Malkin would’ve stick around a bit longer, but perhaps he’ll make an appearance in the next books. I hope so.

Nonetheless, I already bought the 3rd book so let’s head right into it. :D
