📖 Kristen Proby has me absolutely hooked on her story telling! She was a new to me author in 2024 and also one of my most read authors in 2024! I will absolutely be reading everything she writes this year and continue to devour her backlist. Now onto When We Burn… Bridger and Dani are absolutely precious, and Birdie is the cutest little thing! Dani is Birdie’s teacher and Bridger’s next door neighbor so we have some delicious forced proximity! After having friend zoned himself years prior, Bridger finally sees his opportunity to win the girl of his dreams and puts full focus on Dani. I loved watching him dote on both his girls. And watching Dani love him and his daughter so fiercely and build up her own confidence was lovely. And Bridger has quite the filthy mouth on him 🔥

🎧 Erin Mallon and Sean Masters narrated this audio in dual style. Sean Masters has quickly risen to the top of my narrator favs list! His deep, resonant voice carries a richness that envelops the listener like a favorite blanket on a chilly evening.
