i never understood the extreme hype on either extreme with this book series since it not really anything special.
it’s an rather typical romance erotica with a possessive man with specific sexual tastes and a naive woman.
it’s nothing new or overly exciting or special.

that being said i still enjoy this series. is it my favorite? would i recommend it to everyone? NO!
but it’s okay and super easy to read an requires absolutely no brain power which is exactly when i pick this type of book up.

if you are looking for great writing and wonderful characters or an actual good plot? find something else!

if you just want something to occupy your time with and then forget about it again?
this is great for that!


also i don’t think that this rewrite of the original trilogy is necessary or adds anything that is needed on any way shape or form!

why do i read it? because i have a stupid need to complete series i started no matter how unnecessary i find the continuations.
