Miles Cooper, one fourth of the hottest band, Damaged. That his until a tragic accident happened and the claimed the life of his best friend and his lover. Six years later, Miles is still struggling with his emotions and his pain from the accident. Gelsey Howard, a young ballerina. She is living in the shadows of her mother. She has a lifelong injury that she has to deal with and could easily end her dancing career. Her mother passed away when she was a child and she was left with her father, who pretty much abandoned her.

When they first meet, Gelsey has no idea who Miles is. She knows that he is hurt and he is damaged. He hires Gelsey to help him with his water therapy. Not really having a home, Gelsey also reluctantly agrees to move into Miles pool house. She is drawn to Miles. She can feel his pain and wants to help him heal, both the physical and the emotional injuries.

This story was emotional, it was beautiful and it was all about finding yourself again. The growth of Miles throughout the story was one of the most people things I have read in a while. He finally started to see the light again and Gelsey was there as his rock. But Miles was also there for Gelsey, he was her strength and her confidence and gave her the love that she truly deserved. Their chemistry, their friendship and their love is pure perfection.
