2nd time thru and still so good. The way Ms Brannan writes the story in a clue-filled, methodical way, often transferring between perspectives instead of just Beth’s, it’s the perfect “show not tell” that allows you to go with the characters and watch things unfold at the same time as them. It allows your imagination to track with bit by bit and you can’t help but get sucked in.

Like the last book, there was much that was unpredictable and the book was so hard to put down. So much history and characters are extremely well developed and enjoyable. Definitely read them in order but so so good.
