Mariah Montoya does it again! I was in the middle of a reading slump and this took me much too long to read, but every time I picked up the book, I was entranced in her writing. I love the FMC of this book. It dives deep into the lovers that became enemies who became lovers again at the end...only to have a twist on the last page that I did not see coming. It had spice. It had twists. It had animals who can communicate to those who have the whispering ability. it has mind manipulation. I absolutely loved the continuation in the series and it even brought up the death of the spider that had me GASPING in the last book. I also love the heart throb Coen Steeler. The depths that he goes to for his love of the FMC is just amazing. 10/10 recommend this series!!
