This is definitely not the type of book I would normally read. It was strange, disgusting, and, at times, hard to stomach - but, for whatever reason, I still enjoyed it. Maybe it was the dark and satirical brand of humor. Maybe it was the writing. Maybe it was the nonsense after all. Whatever it was, I liked it, and I do look forward to reading more of Palahniuk's work.

That being said, there was nothing in this book that I found particularly mind-blowing. Also, at times I felt like the plot was just jumping from one place to another. It wasn't perfect, but, by the end, I was still ended up liking it A LOT more than I thought I would.
