o be totally honest, I am not quite sure what I just read or how to rate this. 😳😂
Like, the best way I can describe this is if you took the hilarious characters and dialogue in a kind of low-stakes fantasy (Think That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon) and mixed it with a dark, kind of dubcon romance.... and also make it aliens.. with prehensile ✨appendages✨.
I hope that makes sense. I might check out some of this authors other work to see what it's about 😆🤷🏻♀️
Here are some of the quotes I highlighted because they made me laugh out loud:
The cave has been decorated in what I consider to be a homey fashion. Skulls and bones decorate the walls. I have a pleasant chevron pattern of shins and thighs running up and over the doorway. It’s nice.
“If I was to find the male who put that expression on your face, I would turn him into a drying rack.”
This is why relationships are so hard. You rip one man’s spine out in front of a woman and it changes things.
“What do you want to do, Computer?” I change tack. “Do you want to forever be at the mercy of Reginald, ferrying people back and forth from their doom?”
“I want to be a kitchen.”
“What?”
