This book was delightful. I truly loved reading every moment and didn't want it to end. There was enough world-building to put me into the zone, but not too much that I was sick of it. (Sometimes world-building just isn't my jam). There is a romance within the book, but a lot of the focus falls outside of the romance and onto the personal growth and journey of the main character. I could have read another couple hundred pages of this book and the characters within.

Now if the second book would just hurry up and be available at my library......
