Mother-Daughter Murder Night
by Nina Simon
A kitschy little whodunnit with an endearing family dynamic. A snooty Grandmother in a health crisis , a single artsy Mom working to make ends meet & a spunky teen daughter looking to gain independence all find themselves living together in a tiny island home . As if tensions aren’t high enough the teenager finds herself the suspect in a murder and the family works together to prove her innocence.
This one was a bit slower than what I expected and while the mystery is a cozy whodunnit, the star of the show is the family learning to work through their dysfunctional ways to save each other .
