Five stars may be a slight bit too much, but I didn't have any real problem to speak of with the book, and it gave me more insight into and appreciation of Black Veil Brides and the Andy Black solo project, which is kind of the point of this kind of book, isn't it?
The only issue I had with the book was the fact "he or she" was used all the time, which made me slightly uncomfortable, but that might have been added by the editor, not the author. Otherwise, the writing was excellent, and I read the book (relatively) quickly.

"The music that refashioned the subjects of my anxiety into new passions had also helped me make a friend. I was now armed with a healthy obsession with the darkness. It wasn’t my adversary any longer. It became my ally."
